I am disgustingly catholic in my music tastes, with the possible exceptions of heavy metal, hardcore punk, nasty hip-hop and a lot of classical (even though I respect it). I'm also a straight man who loves musical theater and cabaret. Yes, they do exist.
Movies
"Hairspray" was so much fun. So was "The Simpsons Movie."
Television
I'm a hopeless sucker for game shows and some reality competition shows. Yes, including "The Amazing Race." I also like "30 Rock," "The Sopranos," "Extras," "Mad Men," "Slings and Arrows" and "Shootout." I think I'm getting to like "Pushing Daisies" (any show that lets Kristen Chenoweth sing I have to like...)
Books
Don't read bound paper very much these days, but when I do, it's usually non-fiction and biographies.
Heroes
Monday night on NBC--OK, I'm kidding, but this is such a hard category to fill out. Let's just say that Keith Olbermann's commentary, Jess Godwin or Keely Nicole Busteed's voice and Toni Collette on the screen can generally make me very happy. And Rachel McAdams is so damn adorable.
