The Entrepreneurship Program at The University of North Carolina Greensboro (UNCG) is one of the first in the country to have interdisciplinary tracks students can choose from for the proposed major in Entrepreneurship.
There are 7 tracks that students can take courses from across campus: Creative Industries, Family Business, Franchising, Health Care Entrepreneurship, International Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship, and Technology Entrepreneurship.
The same tracks are in the minor (15 credits) for those in the business school and non-business students. There is also a graduate certificate in Entrepreneurship (12 credits) for students that already have an undergraduate degree in any major and want to specialize in Entrepreneurship or Corporate Entrepreneurship.
Of the people that start businesses, 60% have never taken a business course. Our program is designed to meet the needs of anyone that might start a business-from a music major to someone in education.
