Raised by Mary Poppins on the Yellow Submarine, expect the unusual from this living animated cartoon of a man. Often seen with Wilber Rupert Rufus Gonzalez Maritnez-Allegro the IIIrd, the Rubber Chicken of Freedom, Uncle Eye is constantly figuring out ways to battle his arch-enemy Baron Boredom.
With help from The Strange Change Machine, Uncle Eye bridges the gap between generations and transforms the blahs into Hoorahs! Uncle Eye & The Strange Change Machine are a band for all seasons.
He also performs as a one man interactive adventure in which, among other things, he promotes literacy, celebrates community, dances with plants, parties with penguins!
AN INTRODUCTION TO UNCLE EYE, THE SINGING STORYTELLER
IS THIS UNCLE EYE?
“Everyone needs this music.” - Larry Kelp, KPFA 94.1 FM Berkeley
“Guaranteed to make you laugh; Uncle Eye is a man of enormous musical and storytelling energy and creator of a new superhero for our times: Ruby, the Rescue Cow.”
- Friends of the Walnut Creek Libraries
“He had a room full of children dancing like chickens. What more do you need to know?”
- M. Smith Walnut Creek librarian
“Ira Levin is a multi-talented performer that children of all ages can enjoy. His two appearances on my PBS program, Jakers: The Adventures of Piggley Winks, were a resounding success. His music is catchy, clever and singable. The kids in our studio audience went wild for his hit song, “Ruby the Rescue Cow.” I look forward to working with Uncle Eye again.” Larry Swerdlove Producer/Director
“Uncle Eye: Alternative rocker for the preschool set.”
- West County Times
“Ira Scott Levin's unique blend of music touches deep into the soul of the listener and takes them on a magical journey through time and space. His music awakens your inner child and lets you have a little time to play." - Artist Spot writer William Hodgson Sidewalks Entertainment Television ( SWETV.COM)

Hey! Uncle Eye ! Greetings from New York City. Thanks for the ADD which I value. We're from different spectrums but its great to connect... You have great stuff going on. Have to go back again and check it out in more detail. Madooo.. The guy with the "BEATLES TRIBUTE ALBUM FROM INDIA"
Great show today!! Your smaller fans were ecstatic (as were the larger ones). I really enjoyed listening/watching. Uncle Eye you are the consummate performer. Ms. Melody is a hottie and sings like an angel straight from Heaven. Those other two guys are great too - really accomplished musicians. I actually saw the guy with the cello and mandolin SMILE several times (at first I thought maybe he just had gas, but I realized, no, he is really smiling up there). I look forward to the next Uncle Eye show!!!
Hi Uncle Eye! I just love your music, what a breath of fresh air! Good to meet a fellow fan of Tull and Trees. If you are ever in the UK we should collaborate man. Best wishes, Claire x
Hi Ira! Happy Belated Thanksgiving! I'm sure it was delicious! I'm a little jealous I wasn't there to sample the glorious food. I missed you too. But, I was working this weekend and preferred to stay in Orlando. I ended up having a lovely dinner with my roommates. The Levins are awesome!!! I'm a huge fan! When is the CD coming out? It says early 2009, but do you have a date yet?
By the way, you'll be happy to know that I played Comfy Chair as background music during Thanksgiving. :0) Have a great one! Send Julia my best!
