The UNCLE JOHN BAND is back!
So the story goes, after having some great times,fun gigs, as well as meeting some great people the band moved on and went thier separate ways.
Uncle John Foy has spent his time writing, recording and working on new songs. John ran into original member, drummer Russ Perkins, one day and they started to talk about putting THE UNCLE JOHN BAND back together.John told Russ he has some new songs and has been working out some of his favorite covers. Russ said he has been playing a lot and would love to get the band playing out again.
Long time friend Leo Just was recruited to play bass. Leo has known Russ for years and they have played together many times. Ed Loguidice is on lead guitar. Ed met John through a friend of the band who has seen the band many times.
We play a nice mix of originals and cover songs in our own unique way. We take great pride in playing what we like to call true American roots music.John’s strong rich vocals are perfect for all the styles the band plays in.We will be mixing up are sets, as well as adding new original and cover songs all the time.We hope you enjoy hearing us and seeing us live
