Hailing from Akron, Ohio is the death-"ish" metal band Under a Dead Sky. When these Akronites hit the stage it erupts with a violent and radical stage show that directly transcends to the pit. Their sound is an amalgamation of music from metal genres across the board from death to hardcore, and grind to tech these guys do it all.
The band's recent debut release "Spread Your Legs For Scrambled Eggs" is a result of sorting through several singers and adding a second guitarist to the original three members Colin, Matt, and Andrew. The bands current line-up is Rick Miller (vocals), Andrew Clark (guitar), Josh Papp (guitar), Matt Stephens (bass), and Colin Papp (drums). Spread Your Legs For Scrambled Eggs was self-produced and engineered in house by Josh Papp. Ultimately, Under a Dead Sky strives to bring you the most juxtaposed sound. UADS takes pride in delivering relentless music and performances.. The guys in this band are true D.I.Y.ers doing everything from production and recording, to setting up shows in random places and printing their own merch. Every nuance that makes this band who they are is a direct result of the dedication put forth by each member of the band. Don't be afraid to talk to one of these guys if you see them at a show, they love the company. (and yes talking in the third person is super super gay)
