Hailing from the dark industrial heart of South Wales, Undercover Elements deliver a hard edged techy sound with an eye for top quality and a powerful love for dark DnB.

Luke Skinner is an urban audio shaman and has been DJing and lurking around the Bristol and South Wales party scene hard as fuck for 15 years. Making tunes since the early days of the Amiga his tunes have blessed many a party at the likes of Holodeck, Black Swan, Easton Community Centre, St. Pauls Carnival and countless warehouse parties. In 2003 Skinner was a finalist (alongside Alix Perez) in Drum & Bass Arena's E-Z Rollers remix competition.

Mondo has been a long time adept of the South Wales DnB scene and has been known to invoke havoc and chaos the likes of which are legendry . A one time winner of a Knowledge Magazine DJ competition in 1998, he was resident at the legendary Bulletproof playing along side some of the biggest players in the scene along with regular plays at Melt, Silent Running, Aperture, Holodeck, Critical Mass, Slam and many other club nights and free parties around south and west Wales. He has honed his abilties to a fine art and is well armed to send any dance floor into a frenzy.

Alex Crowley is a technical wizard and has been creating, performing and producing music for as long as he can remember. He was born to manipulate sound. Previous involvement with a multitude of projects along with a career developing audio software his powers ensure a tight professional edge in all all aspects of sound creation. Bringing cutting edge computer performance and mixing to the live spectacle he provides the final element to the trinity.

When the stars were right the three minds came together at last and their knowledge and skills were combined. Undercover Elements was unleashed upon the earth. Building on their love of dark and gritty underground DnB nights yet adding a clean technical aspect, their live show is something to be experienced but approach with caution. They have been known to rip dancefloors apart. With a mixture of ritualistic audio overload and mind bending visuals expect nothing but HEAVYWEIGHT HIGH DEF PUNKS!! Their gigs are dangerous.

In 2006, Undercover Elements got their break when their industrial funk roller 'The Gateway' was showcased on Bailey's Intabeats show on BBC 1Xtra where it was picked to represent the station's 'D&B Downloads' promotion alongside the likes of Chase and Status and Dynamite MC. Regular radio support followed and the tune went on to be dropped on dance floors across the globe by Bailey and others - "You've gotta download this. I've personally tested it in the clubs... and it goes off!" Baily said.

Continued support of further creations include Huw Stevens (BBC Radio 1), L Double (BBC 1Xtra), Ras Kwame (BBC 1Xtra) - including a live interview promoting track 'Keygen', Chrissy Chris (BBC 1Xtra), Flight (BBC 1Xtra), Adam Walton (BBC Radio Wales), Jason Camilleri (BBC Radio Wales), Benny Blanco (Cardiff Radio), United Mindz (UK Bass Radio), alongside coverage in Knowledge Magazine. In April 2009 - Undercover Elements new single was featured on BBC Radio 1 "Introducing" with Bethan Elfyn and Huw Stephans.

DJ residencies, bookings and regular slots on Cardiff Radio and Inner Base Radio saw Undercover Elements become legendary and their sets are the talk of the town for many aeons after. Headlining nights alongside Dom and Roland, Keaton, Andy C, and Loxy they continue to push themselves to the limits of sound. There's no forgetting a performance by Undercover Elements. People's minds are literally blown and medical attention is always required.

In 2009, their label 'Heads of the Valley Recordings' was finally born. Their first release, HOTV001 - 'Manipulator' b/w 'Crystal Kingdom' (LOAD Media Distribution) sees Undercover Elements unleash an experimental psychedelic cult monster as yet unheard in the DnB scene. Future releases promise to reveal to the world what Undercover Elements have been conjuring up during the long dark hours of the night and along with signings The Collaboration, AP Bolan, KZSS and other hidden secret talents lurking in South Wales and beyond the next few years will see a new era in dark Drum and Bass. With a guest remixes by some of the ultimate masters of dark DnB in the pipeline, Heads of the Valley Recordings and Undercover Elements are set to lead the way to a sinister and dark future where people are crossed with machines.
