-Chris Anderson: Chris began playing music as a percussionist with the San Diego Youth Symphony. As a highly desired multi-instrumentalist, Chris has played drum set, bass, guitar and has sung in numerous local outfits, including Headfirst, Blue Wind and Metro. His current project, The Ballad Mongers, is recording several original singles slotted for digital distribution. He also produced The Ballad Monger's sophomore release, "Door to Door." Chris has performed all over San Diego, including The Belly Up Tavern, Canes, and The Catamaran.
Danielle Monique Latimer: Danielle has been singing all of her life. Some say she was born singing. Her mother, Debra, says her first words had to do with singing. Danielle has performed with numerous show choirs and standing choirs since 6th grade. She was a member of the Skyline Church Honor Choir for two years, and was also in her high school honor choir. Danielle was captain of the color guard team for 2 years. During her senior year she received the most talented student award for an ongoing four years. Danielle spends all of her free time dancing, creating choreography, composing music and last but not least, singing her heart out. And, you had better believe, if Danielle is not somewhere doing something that has to do with music, she must be in bed deathly ill! Danielle aspires to make singing a career someday. Music is her mantra, it is her life.
-Ashley Denise Washington:
Ashley is a soprano female vocalist - born with natural talent. From birth she was surrounded by music and began singing at age three. She honed her talent singing in the choir at Mission Hills Church and with the world-renowned Red Robe Choir at Grossmont High School, of which, she was a member for four years. With the Red Robe choir she had the opportunity to tour Europe, and sing in several famous Cathedrals. Ashley is influenced by female vocalists such as Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston. As a dedicated music student at Cuyamaca College, she is always looking forward to more exciting performances with UnderCover: The Cuyamaca College Rock, Pop & Soul Ensemble.
- Aaron Irwin: Aaron is the instructor of UnderCover: The Cuyamaca College Rock, Pop and Soul Ensemble. In August of 2006, Aaron earned a Master's of Arts Degree in Ethnomusicology from San Diego State University (SDSU). In May of 2004, Aaron was awarded a Secondary Instrumental Music Teaching Credential from SDSU, as well as Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance in May 2003. Aaron has performed internationally; he studied traditional West African music and dance at the University of Ghana at Legon, and he taught and performed traditional West African Music and Dance for the Center for World Music in Bali, Indonesia. Aaron has performed and toured nationally with numerous local outfits, including his current project, the the soul and funk sensation, The Bankhead Press. He has also toured internationally with "San Diego Music Awards Best Hip Hop Group 2003-2005," Alfred Howard & the K-23 Orchestra. Aaron has embraced the stage with notable acts such as Cesaria Evora, Los Amigos Invisibles, Fishbone, Digital Underground, Zap Mama, Lyrics Born, Sound Tribe Sector 9, and The B- Side Players.
