UnderCurrent is a new project for Chris Hansen. Having spent his early years working on various dance music projects (the remnents of which can still be found floating around the internet! namely on download.com) he has now grounded.
The idea emerged to write to include all musical influeneces from dance music (Faithless, Massive Attack...) through to indie bands (Athlete, The Killers...) and onto songwriters (Damien Rice, Chris Martin...). And so here we are, UnderCurrent is a subtle mixture of more traditional songwriting with all the other influences tinting the sound, and early signs are very good. Already featured on CrossRhythms radio with on air interview and encouraging review, waiting on the review to be published and with Occams Razor just released this is just the beginning...
