Friends since middle school, andy and jon both listened to a band called archers of loaf, 7 years later both of them happened to make music by themselves and in a few bands, they decided archers of loaf were awesome and werent getting the recognition they should be getting, so they decided to start a 2 person band that covers archers of loaf songs....well after a few shows they decided they wanted to play their own music....and now they do ;)
