Hello, we are Underdog hailing from somewhere near Colchester,
Essex, UK. The band is Jordan Jones on lead vocals, Andy Stock on
lead guitar and backing vocals, Aaron Roberts on bass guitar and
backing vocals and John Wright on drums.
We best describe our music as Indie/Rock but with balls behind it. You know something a bit more beefy than your average Indie band.
You are of course invited to have a listen and form your own
opinion.
We all met at school when we were young and reckless, and decided
we needed something to keep us out of mischief. So we started
writing our own songs, and honed our sound, to where we are today.
We all hate our everyday jobs and this pent up frustration is best
released when we are writing, performing or recording a song.
Since 2005 we have been gigging regularly, mainly in the capital
but also with a string of other gigs spread out across the south
east.
Highlights along the way have included playing to a packed house at
The Garage in Islington, having our first material released on The
High School Reunion compilation early 2006 and releasing our own EP
late 2006.
We have a single released complete with video shot in Manchester,
Autumn 2007 with a debut album to follow shortly after.
So ladies and gentleman, boys and girls have a look and a listen
and come join us on what it is sure to be a memorable journey.

Hola, somos UNDERDOG y somos de alguna parte cerca de Colchester, Essex, Reino Unido. El grupo es formado por Jordan Jones, voz, Andy Stock, voz y guitarra, Aaron Roberts, voz y bajo y John Wright, batería. Describimos nuestra música como Indie/Rock pero con mucha fuerza y energía.
Por supuesto les invitamos a que escuchen y formen sus propias opiniones. Nos conocimos todos en la escuela cuando éramos jóvenes e imprudentes, y decidimos que necesitábamos algo para guardarnos fuera de las travesuras. Comenzamos a escribir nuestras propias canciones, y afilamos nuestro sonido, hasta llegar donde estamos hoy.
Todos odiamos nuestros trabajos diarios y esta frustración nos ayuda a lanzar lo mejor posible cuando estamos escribiendo nuestra música. Desde 2005 hemos tocado en eventos regularmente, principalmente en el capital Londres pero también hemos tenido una cadena de otros eventos en el sureste de Inglaterra. Los toques de luz a lo largo de nuestro camino han incluido tocar en lugares llenos de gente, por ejemplo el “Garage” en Islington, hacer nuestro primer material lanzado en una compilación a principios de 2006 y lanzar a nuestro propio EP en el 2006. Tenemos un sencillo que será lanzado con un vídeo que hicimos en Manchester a finales de 2007 y nuestro álbum será lanzado en Abril de 2008 en México (distribuido por Impacto Difusión Music) e Inglaterra (distribuido por Blackwater Records). Entonces, chavos únanse con nosotros en lo que seguro será un viaje memorable. ¡Paz! UNDERDOG.
