Welcome! to the Underdog Victory myspace. Were a 7 piece ska-punk band based in Reigate (town south of London) Check us out (don't hate us because we're ska). 11/4/08 Return of Loz and more gigs
Loz is home!!! After six months of Loz in NZ he's now home to join forces with us once again! Hooray! We'd just like to say a big thanks to everyone who come to Oxjam last night and danced or bought CDs etc. It was an awesome nigth and we hope lots of money will be raised. Coming up on 25th April we're headling at Horsham Youth Club, with a really good ska line up behind us, including Used Inc, Death By Ska and EFTO. The following day on 26th we're heading upto London with Plinth, our co-touring band, for what should be a really good gig. Those of you that haven't noticed, we're touring over the UK in the summer, so if you're not local to UV, we're heading to a town near you!
24/12/07 iTunes and other stuff It's official, you can now buy 'Your Parents' New Favourite Band' from the iTunes store - so all you amercians out there, get shopping! Other news is that this weekend we've been recording for our new split album with Used Inc and Death By Ska. We've recorded two tracks 'Suckers For The Mainstream' and 'I Want You Back' (yes, the Jackson Five cover!). We've also recently had the privelege of having a shoot with Michele Britton, who's worked with bands like Bowling for Soup, Bloodhound Gang and Fandangle. You have no excuses for not turning up so get ur asses in gear and head over to Crawley! 17/9/07 Newbie! As some of you probably would have noticed, Loz Hobden is sadly no longer with us! He's taken a long break to New Zealand to work on farms for 6 months. Last I herad he's currently farming Kiwis! His replacement for the meantime is the hairy but ever so elegant Robin Smith. You've got a lot to live up to, Robin!
21/7/07 HEADLINING "SKA ELECTRIC" so go buy tickets! We're headlining a gig at the Electric Theatre in Guildford along side a host of awesome rising ska bands from the UK (so fuck knows why we are headlining?) "SKA ELECTRIC" is for the benefit of the charity "epilepsy bereaved" which supports families bereaved by epilepsy, which is most definately a cause worth skanking for! The box office for the concert is now open, and tickets (no booking fee) can be bought by calling 01483 444 789. All tickets are standing (or dancing!), and cost £8.

21/3/07 TRACKS ARE UP!!! So the new record is practically finished a few little fidly bits to do before we start selling it however you can start listening right now! thats right kids wet you appetites with two brand new songs and two new recordings of oldies. are you excited, i no i am! so go listen right now my friends listen and spread the good word. YEAH! 4/3/07 The CD Is Almost Ready! After six long days of tiresome recording, inside jokes and family guy quotes, we have finished all the recording for the record. The rest is now in the very capable hands of Chris Hammleton to mix and master. Start getting excited kids! 25/2/07 Cheers Bookham! So when Your suppost to be playing a gig on the 2nd evening of your week in a recording studio and your bassist has broke his wrist and your trombone player has fallen ill with a seriously terminal case of the "i can't be arsed' syndrome, the logical step would be to pull out at the last minute. but having rememberd how friendly the folks in bookham are, we decided to bite the bullet and just play the damn show but complain the entire time. however after all that, being able to leave with the award for 'most entertaining band' is just swell. so thank you very much bookham you taught us lazy fucks a valuable lesson! 3/2/07 Show Cancelled We regret to inform you that this fridays show at backline studios has been cancelled. we havnt actually been informed to the full extent why the show has been cancelled, but we are sory if this by any chance has caused anyone inconvinience but it was out of our control. But no wories to those of you crying in despair there is much more to look forward to! cheers and sory again 5/1/07BACK TO THE RECORDING STUDIO! Hello Everyone And happy new year by the way. So although the Underdog Victory EP was nice an' all, weve made the decision to head back in the studio with our good friend Chris Hammelton to record a new CD. The New Record Will consist of 3 old tracks from the original ep re-recorded and 3 three newbies!. We hope to re-emerge with somthing that represents the band a little better. I guess i kinda summed it up in the title, but yeah we won the cranleigh battle of the bands and we couldnt be happier about it.
