A hard alternative act that have made it their mission to share their vision with as many people as they can get to listen. With their soul baring lyrics and aggressive songs of substance, they make every live performance a memorable event.
UNDERGODS was put together in April of 2000 with three goals, to write and perform angry songs of self empowerment as opposed to songs of loathing and self pity that saturate the market today, creating a live show with extreme intensity and have a great time doing it.
With the experience UNDERGODS have garnered through the years in their previous bands, they have used the knowledge of their time on the independent scene to their advantage. Using the stage to exorcise their demons, their live performance will captivate you and leave you with no choice but to spread the word and return.
Tasks amassed within UNDERGODS include sharing the stage with many major label acts including Three Days Grace (EMI), Headstrong (RCA), Breach of Trust (EMI), Not By Choice (Maple Music/Universal), members of Strapping Young Lad (Century Media), I Mother Earth (Universal) Fear Factory (Roadrunner) The New Deal (Zomba/Jive) and Our Lady Peace (Sony). As well they have become veterans in the studio, recording with some great producers and engineers such as their very own Troy Gregory (Bass) sharing the controls with brother Sean Gregory at The Recording House who was responsible for engineering such projects as Cauterize (WIND UP) The Mudmen (EMI) Farenheit, and The Hellz Kitchen Show.
With influences ranging from The Beatles to Death, UNDERGODS sound is very diverse and always open to try something exciting without losing the cohesiveness that moulds their sound.
