Well, maybe it's fate, maybe it isn't, but American Nightmare's done quite well for themselves over this past year, especially considering the trouble they've had keeping a body behind the drums. If you see American Nightmare on the bill for a show in your area, it really should be a no brainer. As for what to expect, I would like kids to walk away psyched on hardcore. When I walk away from seeing bands like Bane, Hot Water Music or Kill Your Idols, I am so fucking glad to be a part of the scene. It sounds corny, but it's true. Those bands give me chills every time I see them. I want kids to take a memory of a something different and meaningful with them. There's a fine line between having fun and being scared, but we try to do both. Maybe its our definition of fun. We don't care about categories, we don't give a shit about trying to fit molds. We are kids trying to do something. That's really it.
