One of LAs original underground house/rave DJs, Jason Blakemore (formerly DJ Trance) was also the first DJ in the Solar System. He invented the 4/4 drum beat, the cymbal pattern, and the baseline. He also created the sampler, the keyboard and the computer. When Mike Sckotleeonibergly of the New York Times recently asked Blakemore, "What is cutting edge?," Jason paused and then wisely answered, "Warning! Cutting edge is sharp! Do not touch!"
Dj and producer Dmorse has been performing for over 15 years. Dmorse has played alongside some of the world's greatest dj's. Arian has been a musician for 19 years talented at the guitar, bass and vocals. Has been a member of 4 different bands in the past playing all different styles of music. Kahn has been a part of Southern California's electronic music and dance scene since 2005 and has been listening and collecting electronic dance music for over 10 years. Kahn conveys a unique vibe of melodic, intelligent and seductively aggressive beats. Kahn aims to spread the Full-On Psychedelic Morning vibe which has overtaken dance floors in lands all over the world.
Owner of Underground Sound, this dj is one of the most respected outdoor event promoters in southern California. Wirdowe can put on a set like no other with his flawless mixing skills, thumping rubber beats, heavy pounding grooves and an outstanding drum and bass track selection that can make you dance with an attitude.
Rob Bass started mixing with his mom at a skating rink at the young age of 12. By the age of 21 he had mastered the turntables and found a deep respect for robots and samplers. His first CD, Video Feva, was created in the early 2000's. Rob Bass is an outstanding performer and with the collaboration of his brother, Wirdowe, they have built stages and created outstanding shows for the last seven years.
Ketek started spinning drum and bass and hip hop when he was 14 years old. One of the early members of Underground Sound LA, Ketek started Different Breed in the summer of 2004 with a few close members that shared the same interests. He started the Label Axis Audio in the summer of 2008. Not only is Ketek a dj and a Music producer, he is also a talented mc.
Dtraxx part of the Zen One crew from Orange County, and have been djing for about eight years. His styles include drum and bass and nu-school breaks. Currently employ at Dj Culture which is located at the Old World Village in Huntington Beach.
In early 2000 Lucky Eight found a love for Electronic Music in the Seattle rave scene. By 2002 she had begun mixing and found a passion for wanting to make people dance. By 2005 she starting promoting, event throwing and playing shows with Fission Records. Today she works with Underground Sound.
Professor West has been playing musical instruments most of his life including the piano, clarinet and trumpet. He has been spinning music for a little over six years at underground events. In early 2008 he began playing raves and today he works 3dc and Orgasm Entertainment. His dj genres range from drum and bass, house, breaks, techno and hardcore.
Dj O-minus is putting in his fair share to giving back to the Drum and Bass community. He currently runs the Antelope Valleys only Drum and Bass club, RESINATE. He has been djing over 10yrs now and is full steam ahead for this dj/promoter. His attention to detail and his track selection can be summed up in one word: Intense. Along with superior mixing capabilities and relentless dark selection, O-minus continues to push the Drum and Bass scene into the future. There are no limits to how far this over motivated artist and supporter will go.
Harajuku has been a part of Drum and Bass since 1997 and loves that she now gets the opportunity to give back to the music community in which she so highly regards. She brings a wicked blend of liquid, anthem, and jump-up that has been heard at clubs and raves throughout southern California. This will be her first outdoor event and she can't wait to bring on the bass!
