"Fans have, after all, always asserted that the demonstrative aggression on the surface of Black Metal epics merely acted as a perceptive portal, focussing attention like a laserbeam on the fragile beauty secretively tucked away underneath. Dahl has now stripped away this gateway and revealed the romantic layers more openly. His music is still as harsh, hard and horrific as one could possibly imagine, haunted by terrifying scratchings and pounding riffs, but in the absence of regular band structures, the few remaining elements take on new meaning. The onion peeling continues, so to speak: The monotony and utter minimalism of the music is, again, nothing but a surface. As one is drawn by its trance-inducing cycles of madness, the drones start exercising a hypnotic presence and everything slows down to a hardly perceptable resting pulse rate. With each repetition, the original outline of the riffs blur even more, smearing out a glistening streak of harmonics over a bloodred canvas." tokafi.com

Ha! Well, then maybe Darkspace was influenced by you :D
I am trying. I am at about 5:30 in my song, and I think it will be around 7:00 in length. Everyday, though, I am constantly working on my new song, but the progress is very slow.
haha awesome! Drudkh and Vali are the main influences for this project, so it's necessary for them to be in my top friends.
I didn't realize you did a split with Spectral Lore! I was somewhat hesitant to listen to Underjordiska (which I am with all bands, so it's nothing against you personally), but I was pleasantly surprised! You have some excellent atmospheric work going here! If I only had some damned money, I would really pick up any and all available releases.
By the way, I am sensing some major Paysage d'Hiver influences in your music. Am I correct in saying this?
Thanks for the add. I think your Dystert Vilse album is one of the greatest avant-garde Black Metal albums I’ve heard in a long time. I can’t stop listening to it and recommending it to all my friends!
I absolutely love The Dead Texan; it's great for when I want to listen to Stars of the Lid but don't have 3 hours on my hands. As for the bands you listed, I only know of Hammock (who are also wonderful).
Also, I really, really like your music. It is a shame that Morrigan and Nightgaunt on metal-archives are being little bitches to you. They did the same to me because an old band of mine had an internet-only release, even though bands like Alice in Chains and Cephalic Carnage have internet releases on there. It's all about bias.
Thank you very much for accepting my add request. I enjoyed the samples of your work you have post on your site. consequently I would offer you a copy of the zine I publish. If you are interested just shoot me an email.
