At the end of April 2007 Under Marié released their first studio album ..Step Into Light.. under the acclaimed Forwards label. So far, the debut album has gained remarkable media attention - the first single .."What What?".. is listed in various national and local radio stations and has entered the popular music chart R2 top 20. The album has also gained many positive reviews by the Estonian music press. The video for "What What?" was released at the beginning of May 2007 and was soon included into the ..MTV Baltic.. playlist and the ..MTV Baltic Top 20.. chart show. .... The animated video drawn and directed by artist Chintis Lundgren also received similar treatment by MTV Baltic and in addition attracted the attention of ..MTV Europe... Under Marié was founded at the beginning of 2004 in Tallinn. The band's music combines alternative guitar pop with electronic beats and ambient synth sounds. The outcome is a unique sound in the Estonian pop music scene.

With concerts ranging from small but established underground events like Culture Factory Festival to large stages such as Sapnu Fabrika in Riga, Õllesummer festival in Tallinn and Plink Plonk festival in Tartu, live performancies in national Radio 2 and TV3, Under Marié has gained attention from a wide audience of both underground and mainstream background.

At the end of April 2007 Under Marié released their first studio album Step Into Light under the acclaimed Forwards label. It was followed by a special edition Step Into Light Remixed - a double album containing the original album and a CD with remixes by various renowned Estonian musicians.

So far, the debut album has gained remarkable media attention - the first single "What What?" is listed in various national and local radio stations and has entered the popular music chart R2 top 20. The album has also gained many positive reviews by the Estonian music press. The video for "What What?" was released at the beginning of May 2007 and was soon included into the MTV Baltic playlist and the MTV Baltic Top 20 chart show.

The second official single "That Dance" was released at the end of 2007. The animated video drawn and directed by artist Chintis Lundgren also received similar treatment by MTV Baltic and in addition attracted the attention of MTV Europe. In 2008, the video for "That Dance" went on to win the Estonian Music Award for the best Estonian video of 2007.

In September 2007 Under Marié was nominated for the MTV European Music Awards in New Sound of Europe category in Baltic region.
