Underpaid Packy has been on the Champaign scene for the past two and a half years. With an upbeat blend of rock, folk, jazz and funk style grooves, this five man band consistently delivers great shows and memorable times. Past achievements for the band include winning best student band at the 2008 WPGU Local Music Awards, the April 4th, 2008 release of their debut album Tales From a Fifth Street Roof, and the release of the sophomore album Underpaid Packy. They spent their time playing shows around the Midwest and recording, before finally wrapping it all up with a performance at Summer Camp Music Festival. Long Live U.P.

Hey guys!!! I drove all the way from Cincinnati Ohio just to watch Blind Melon. I did not want to see some local opening act...But you guys could have played another hour. You were great!!! The CD is awesome. Great show. Hope you can make it to the Cincninnati area sometime.
