"The sound of a bamboo forest
the whistle of wooden rain
folding stories over calling out your name"
Undersea Passage perform storylike roots music, channeling old ballads and ocean currents to offer ethereal movements laced with haunting verse.
Lyricist David Delmar (rhythm guitar) and the deep blue Allison Noel (flute, keys) perform many songs as duets, highlighted by the rhythm play of Doug Port (drums) and arranger Carlos Tulloss (bass). Featured Guests add a vibrant dimension: starlight songstress Allegra Chabay, Michael Spaly (lead guitar, mandolin & violin), Brett Joseph (sax), Nathan Spicer (keys), Paul Fischer (lead guitar), and Warren Nelson (lead guitar).
Recent performances include ToST, Mr. Spots Chai House & the Rendezvous JewelBox Theater in Seattle; airplay includes CFRO 102.7 FM in Vancouver, B.C. - and a spot as guest hosts on the Local Lounge at KCDA 103.1 FM in Spokane, WA.
