Il progetto UNDERSMOKINGDOORS si forma a Torino nell'estate del 2004..
I primi mesi di lavoro trascorrono alla ricerca di un'identità di suono che riunisca e riassuma le diverse influenze dei membri del quintetto...
Nei successivi tre anni la band, Luca Saccia (voci), Andrea Morini (chitarra ritmica e cori, ex membro mp2), Jacopo Lucat (chitarra solista), Davide De Mattia (basso), Claudio De Marco (batteria, già con Santabarba) sostituito a partire da Ottobre 2007 da Dario Montagnese (già con Enclose), si esibisce all'interno del vasto circuito dei locali piemontesi (Hiroshima Mon Amour, Jammin Club, Giancarlo, Taurus Ciriè, Caffe Del Progresso, Noise club, Fabrik, Puddhubar, Cover Cafè, Matilda Fashion Disco, Frog, Gasoline, Da Giau, Evadamo Music Club, Soundfactory, Csa Murazzi, Barbican's, Zoo Bar, Green Cafè, Caffè Blue etc...) rafforzando il proprio live set e conquistando sempre maggior audience all'interno della scena cittadina...
Nel Giugno del 2006 inizia la lavorazione per la produzione di un ep di debutto, con la collaborazione del dj torinese Domenico "Tem" Raimi e di Alessandro Arianti (tastierista nella band di Francesco De Gregori) in fase di arrangiamenti e post-produzione...
THIS THECADANCE, mini-opera strutturata in tre episodi, disponibile da Marzo 2007, riassume le prime composizioni della band e si ispira alle influenze della scuola americana post-grunge e nu metal come ipotetico punto d'incontro tra il rock visionario dei Deftones e il crossover elettrico dei Faith No More... Sul palco insieme a band quali Marlene Kuntz, Finley, Melody Fall, Lou Dalfin, Yo Yo Mundi, Eugenio Finardi, Goddass, Toe, Kutfaces, Highlord e semifinalisti a "Torino Sotterranea 2007" e "Suoni Giovani 07",attualmente il gruppo continua la promozione del proprio materiale dal vivo ed è impegnato nella composizione e stesura delle canzoni per un album d'esordio.

In the June of 2006 the production of the first EP effort began , leveraging the collaborations with Dj Domenico "Tem" Raimi and Alessandro Arianti (who plays keyboards in Francesco de Gregori's band) for mixing and postproduction ...
THIS THECADANCE, a small opera in three acts, available from March, 2007, sums up the band's first material and it is inspired by the American post-grunge and nu metal movements, like an hypothetical connection between the Deftones' visionary rock and Faith no More's electric crossover....Sharing the stage with many artists as Marlene Kuntz, Lou Dalfin, Yo Yo Mundi, Eugenio Finardi, Goddass ,Toe ,Kutfaces ,Highlord ,Melody Fall and Finley ,currently the band is still focused on the promotion of its live set and the composition of new material for a full length debut album.
