Under the Gun Started in 2004 as a Punk Cover band in Killeen/ Fort Hood Texas. Once a local fan base started to developed they would always get asked. "Why don't ya'll play original music?" With that being said Under the Gun began to drink a lot of beer and started writing music that was a reminder of the Punk/Thrash scene of the late 80's early 90's. UTG’s First self titled EP was released and the track Six pack and a Bong received local airplay on FM 107.3 KLFX "The Fox Rocks" After receiving small town success UTG took there music and moved to Austin Texas to record their first full length Record entitled “Drinking My Life Away.” UTG quickly got notoriety from many veterans of the Austin punk scene and playing with Punk legends Like Born to Lose, M.O.D. and Dynamite Boy . UTG has been on the road monthly developing scenes in Dallas, San Antonio, Killeen and Temple Texas. Under the Gun leaves a lasting impression on all there audience with high stage energy, comical crowd interaction and great Punk Rock! UTG is what punk was before guys started wearing their sisters pants and make up! We’ll be drink at your bar soon bar!
