und morgen, der asphalt started in 2003 as a vienna based project that combined sampled beats, german lyrics, a voice you have to get used to (so they say), and a lot of analog Instruments like E- and A-guitar, piano, bass, accordeon, etc. all played as best as we can (/could). The Ep you can listen to on myspace or our internetlabel 12rec in full lenght is a first try (although it took us quite long to produce it). At its best moments it points forward to the vague musical "vision" that I always have in mind. It involves a wide range use of samples from all possible sources, a kind of dark atmossphere with certain light moments, tight beats, a transparent mix and "at its heart" lyrics that deal with something different than love, relationships, and the depression of an individual...
At its worst moments... Let me put it that way: When does music begin?
