Since '98 Uneven Studio is a multitrack recording studio in the heart of downtown Denver specializing in recording bands live in a mixed digital and analog format. Why live? I believe in capturing the performance of a band and not the perfection of each player. Even though it is live, there is full separation between every instrument so overdubs and punch-ins are easily done. Ever notice how some studios make every band sound exactly the same no matter what genre of music? I work with the band/artist to make them feel comfortable and relaxed so that a great performance can be achieved. This is done by recording in my house (not a stale foam studio environment) and with the artists musical gear (not forcing them to use all of my gear resulting in the "McDonalds" studio sound). Of course there is plenty of instruments to choose from if the band/artist wants more options and an isolated approach to recording instead of live.
The studio consists of a PC based DAW (up to 16 channels of high quality 32/192K A/D D/A converters) through a 48 channel DDA CS-8 console. With many high end mics and outboard gear along with a medium sized hard wood floor drum room and 2 more smaller isolated rooms, I am capable of recording a live 5 piece rock band with full separation. At your request additional equipment can be borrowed or rented depending on the situation to fit your needs. I have worked with such producers as Pall Jenkins (Black Heart Procession) and can accommodate a variety of needs.

Hey Uneven, thanks for the add. I like your style, I think you might have similar aesthetic sensibilities to this place. Looks like some really nice stuff to work with, and I love how your recordings sound. Keep rockin.
Hey Brian, this is Ian of Night Owl. We would like to talk to you about your studio. Give me a call at 7202265233. I didn't know you had recorded EAOD through needlepoint. Or at least that what it looks like.
They're were a sick band man, the albums are awesome!!!
Hope to talk to you soon.
p.s. how are the crimes? How was the 1190 performance?
