Unfistrife was born in 1999 in Shawinigan (Québec) Canada with only 3 members at the begining. Then David shows up on the bass/guitar in Y2K. Unfistrife recorded a demo CD " When our voices are heard..." with 11 tracks 2 years later. Mitch joined the band in mid-2002 since that day everything changed. Alexander (vocal) and Dave (Guitar) left the band for personal reasons. Unfistrife was up with only 3 dudes and no lead vocal.
Unfistrife published messages on different websites saying that they were looking for a new singer. The band had no chance. Nobody replied to their call. David received an email with a phone number wich was Eric's. David called him but Eric wasn't really down with the idea. Eric came to a rehearsal. Since that day, and forever, Eric is the lead singer of Unfistrife. They released a record on Trash Compost Records in january 2004 called "No Sweet Romance" Back from the European tour with Mitch on guitar, they recorded a promo CD (2 songs): On The Battlefield and Progress. 5 months ago, Mitch decided to part ways with Unfistrife.
Unfistrife has been looking for a new guitarist for a week before they try out Eric Thibeau (playing for Unblixion) From that day , Eric Thibeau was their new lead guitar. The idea of having a rythm guitar wasn't a bad idea. David (bass) quit playing bass and is now a full time rythm guitarist for Unfistrife. Andre (good friend) finally joined the 4 pieces on bass to complete the band. Since that day everything is going to change...!
