Hi. I'm Inger.
My mother gave me her Pentax ME Super when I was 12 years old. It was supposed to be a loan, but I never gave it back. She complains a little now and again, less so now that she sees where it's taken me.
I can't imagine my life without a camera. We spend so much of our lives living inside our own heads - how refreshing to take a moment to peer out and acknowledge the world outside of us.
I don't believe in the phenomenon of an unphotogenic person. And I sure don't trust Vogue.
I shoot digital. I also shoot film - 35mm, half-frame, medium format, large format. The tools I use depend on the subject and the feel we're going for. I work on location and out of my studio in the SE industrial area of Portland. | | Music | yes, yes, yes. |
