Feautring a grand spanking new Unicorn Love track and 30 minutes of finest music that has been roking the Unicorn Love boys' world recently. There's handbell ringers, wurlitzers, show songs blasted out by Ethel Murman, wild Polish afro-funk, 60s girl groups as well as some gospel and Christian music all sourced from the huge Unicorn Love vinyl archive. We love these songs and we trust that you will love them too. You'll also love the new Unicorn Love track. Possibly one of the most rhythmic tracks the boys have produced yet, it is guaranteed to knock you flat on the floor.
It's been a couple of months since the Orgone Accumulators - Wilhelm Reich And Roll EP was presented to the general public and since then the Fifth Neuro Orgone Research Department has been a hive of activity. The research into the alien communications from Sirius has been incredibly successful and we can now announce the publication of the past few months results:-

Four more tracks of sci fi surf techno including a version of Walk Don't Run by The Ventures. As we already know, many of these communications were beamed from the past and The Ventures certainly must have had some knowledge of how to intercept and translate them. We still haven't worked out how Chet Atkins came to be the first person to translate that particular alien communication as there does not seem to be any hint of ESP or suchlike in the rest of his catalogue. If anyone does have any theories please get in touch with us. Walk Don't Run is, of course, a fine piece of advice and it turns out that the other recently translated Sirius communications are also instructions on how to lead a better life - Don't Panic, Keep Calm And Carry On and Never Whistle While You're Pissing. All fantastic pieces of good advice.

We've never been able to quite pin down exactly how the The Hunter Gracchus are going to play on any given occasion, which is a wonderful thing. A shifting unit with Syed Kamran Ali, Fiona Marshall and Jon Marshall at the core, they have recently settled into a fairly stable unit of six, but it's hard to know how long that'll last. Still, while it does, it's producing all manner of magical and highly unexpected performances. The one captured here was recorded at the band's practice room cum gig space, Fagin's Hideout/The Furniture Makers and is a less blistering freakout than some of their recent output, preferring to quietly explore every nook of tonal space. It simmers rather than erupts and, the longer you become immersed in it, the less aware you become of the passage of time. It's a recording that feels like it should go on forever and, when it does come to a close, the silence is shocking. In a time when it's all too easy for a group of improvisers to just go full-tilt in some euphoric pursuit, the Hunter Gracchus provides us with a glowing alternative that draws us slowly in and drowns our senses. This is truly awesome.
Peeesseye I Woke Up and Drank a Bottle of Cheap Kojak CDR
Peeesseye made the scene at Dylan Nyoukis's Colour Out of Space festival last summer and hopped over to Manchester to play a show at the Town Hall Tavern, the recording of which forms the content of this incredible slab of dense droning harmonium, scraping, buzzing, subtly soloing guitar and pulse-free, scatter-drumming. We can't recommend this enough.
It's official - Pupilar is now a full time member of Higher Council of Mars! I will be joining them on tour in October, performing tracks off the album to which I contributed, so come see us play!*
