Unidivina at it's core is a collaboration of two amazing artists. Victoria Bulostin A.K.A. Luna Moth is a totally empowered Goddess energy that inspires the masses with her voice. DJ Story is a talented and creative music producer that has been facilitating humanities awakening with many known artists like Sasha Rose, Onyay, Alicia Lyons, Dr. Do Right, Love and Light. Together they form a powerful force set on one thing and one thing only...the celebration of the inherent Divine unity of everything in the Universe!!!
Unidivina is the manifestation of a dream. Victoria, vocalist, had been holding a vision of collaboration and creating music in the moment with a divine love partner. She had been writing her own songs for a few years yearning to cocreate with others. Music and lyrics have always come easily to her. She feels as though she is a channel for the divine. She had always thought, however, that everyone had the same ability and didn't realize that she had a gift until she started doing some deep soul searching and attended a spiritual psychology program (USM, Santa Monica) which helped her to see the beauty of who she really is.
As part of her 2nd year project in the program, she put together a performance by herself called "The Awakening" singing and looping her own voice with a Boss RC-20 machine. She had a dream one night where she heard all of these angel voices singing in harmony and at different times with each other. That is what got her on her process of discovering how to loop her own voice and open herself even more to her divine connection with Source energy. This tool has allowed her to be even more sensitive to sound as she would lay down one layer of voice and not have to think about it anymore. She knew she would one day meet that special someone to create with.
DJ Story has been creating music his whole life. He also believes he channels divine energy and infuses his music with sacred intention, that is why the name of his record label is "Intuitive Beats".
Both Victoria and Story are products of musical families. Victoria's dad was a famous singer in the 60s in France and received 2 golden records for a song he created for the French soccer team who won the world cup that year. Victoria's mother also put out a single in France. She grew up going into the Studio with her dad who produced a lot of different bands. She actually recorded her first song in studio when she was 11 yrs old with her sister and 3 other friends.
DJ Story was born in Jamaica, and his father played tenor Sax on tour in a famous roots reggae band "Justin Hinds & the Dominoes". DJ Story also spent time in recording studios with his father in Jamaica and London. DJ Story joined an African marimba band in Santa Fe, New Mexico called "Tatenda" (we give thanks in Shona) for a few years learning traditional Zimbabwean music, and has been producing his own music since 1997 when he started experimenting and doing his own thing with software programs like Logic Audio, Acid, Sound Forge, Fruity Loops, Mixman DJ Megamix and Techno E-Jay etc.
One day an ad caught his attention about a free DJ Scratching workshop at a teen center nearby where he lived in New Mexico. He got to experiment with the turntables and learned some basic DJ scratching techniques and it was also in that class that he got his first lesson in beatmatching house and hip hop records. From that point on he was addicted to mixing vinyl. He got a summer job to earn the money for his first turntables.
He started out playing house parties and some outdoor desert raves in New Mexico. Then he got some gigs in San Francisco and Berkeley, and did a few radio interviews in Chico California. He's played sets at Burning Man. One of which was through a whiteout dust storm nearly destroying his records. He lived on Kauai for 5 years and did a lot of DJing at beaches and private parties. He Produced an album, and went back to Burning Man with 1000 CDs to give of way of the compilation he co-produced with Dr. Do Right called "Stages of Life", which is available as a free download on DJ Story's website: www.intuitivebeats.com
Each Unidivina performance is different, just as in life, nothing is rehearsed, living as much in the moment as possible. Victoria and Story have learned to trust that whatever comes through is the perfect expression of what is wanting to come out in that moment. Story will lay down a track or create a new one with his midi key-board, and Victoria will sing what his coming to her, sometimes even in French (her native language) or in some other divine tongue. At a recent gathering, a friend told Victoria that it seemed like they were opening the gates of heaven.
