About Neil OSM
Neil is an artist based in Glasgow. He works primarily using acrylics on canvas. He loves robots (of course) and he is fascinated by outer-space. He is forever sketching in his book. He lives with his tortoise, Herman.
About YHF
YHF is a photographer. He likes to play with depth of field and he has flash guns for hands. He has two robot tattoos. One on his back (by Dan Gold) and another on his arm (designed by Neil OSM and inked by Mark @ Custom Inc).

About me:
Artist Neil Slorance (Neil OSM) likes robots. Photographer Garry Maclennan (YHF) likes robots too. Brought together through their shared obsession with clunky creatures with bright eyes and glowing function buttons, Neil OSM and YHF have worked in partnership to present their debut exhibition: 'Uninvited'.
Launching on Friday 3nd April and running until Friday 17th April at Che Camille (Argyll Arcade), 'Uninvited' documents the sometimes turbulent lives of robots living in our neighbourhoods. 'Uninvited' communicates the robots' yearning for acceptance, their longing for companionship and love. The exhibition documents the struggles the robots endure just trying to stay safe in the city.
We are looking for venues (including pubs, village halls, churches
or galleries) and promoters who are active within their own area to
join the Tune Up industry database.
Tune Up, the Scottish Arts Council scheme, currently funds artists and
musicians to tour to many outlying areas. We’d like to increase this
and involve as many new promoters and venues as possible. If you are a
venue or a promoter who is interested in booking a Tune Up show for our
2009/2010 season, add your details to the industry mailing list and
you’ll be contacted shortly.
