This electro trio is really something new, something unique in the Hungarian music life. Though the members came from very different genres they have found a common goal very quickly. This common goal was to create unique music with unique lyrics and unique sound.O.K.they said then let's call it UNIQUE!
After the first demo was sent to Warner's domestic Magneoton label they were really surprised by an almost inmediate phone call inviting them to discuss the details of a long term recording contract. Just like in fairy-tales.
The contract was signed and they found themselves in the middle of the music industry from one moment to another.
Radio programmers started supporting their music very soon, practically since the first single was released in January 2001. Unique is one of the most popular Hungarian artists these days as far as radio airplay is concerned. In the summer of 2003 they had 3 songs on airplay charts at the same time.
The first album "Úttalan utakon" (Trackless Roads, 2001) brought them country-wide publicity and success. The second single taken from this album "Mi van a nevedben" (What's In Your Name") was the title song of first Hugarian reality show "The Bar". Unique won the "Newcomer Of The Year" prize at 2001 and they also were nominated to the same prize at Golden Giraffe Awards - the Hungarian Grammy - ceremony. Next year they were nominated for best album as well.
Another award won was the "Best Video Of 2003" for "Mozaik" their second album's title song.
2004 was an exciting year for the group as they were invited to perform in Athens during the Olympic Games.
In November they had a sold-out concert at Pe-Csa the most popular rock venue of Budapest. After this gig the live album of the concert has been released in 2005.
In 2006 Unique made a sold-out concert at the "Palace of Art" and they got out the 4th album "Más Világ" (A Different World).
After 13 singles and 16 videos in 2008 they released their Best of CD+DVD with all the smash hits, videos, extras and with a brand new song.

Gabriella Völgyesi - vocal
Very attractive, sexy and suggestive performer equally on recordings, videos or live. She plays on piano as well.
In 1992 she won a country-wide competition called "Teenage Star wanted" in singer division.
Ádám Kovacsics - keyboards, music
He is musically well educated, with strong experimental skills, investigating always how to create music differently.
Zsolt Ferbár - keyboards, lyrics
A very important factor of the group's success is the innovative verbal realization and the content of the texts.
