About Unisex Salon

At the epicenter of the housequake known as Unisex Salon is tattooed, polysexual singer Kenyon Phillips, a modern-day David Lee Roth whose stage persona owes a considerable debt to Freddy Mercury, Iggy Pop and Captain Jack Sparrow. In a bold move reminiscent of David Bowie's mid-70s switch from glam to soul, the band has traded in the rock n' roll edge of its 2008 debut, "Like A Bitch," for a dancefloor-ready sound that's light on guitar and heavy on 80s synths.
