The Adult Night skate session began about 26 years ago when United Skates of America took over what was then called Tampa Skating Center, located at 5121 N. Armenia Ave in Tampa. It was originally held on Wednesday nights from 9p.m.-Midnight and DJs and guest DJs have included DJ Santana, Dennis Desario, DJ Flash, DJ Structure, DJ Eversteve, DJ Melle Mel, Steven St. James and many more.
Today the session is held every Thursday Night from 9p.m.-Midnight and has recently became known as Rollerheat. The Rollerheat kick off party was held on April 5th 2007. A mix of old school, new hot remixes and even some club hits/techno is played. The first hour of the session you can jam to your favorite somgs from Stevie B, Debbie Deb, Midnight Star, Planet Patrol, Trinere and more!! After 10p.m. the hottest current radio hits are played. And remember the fast skate & couple skate you used to do as kids...well we still do them every Thursday night! U can catch DJ Gray spinning the old and new school jams live Thursdays from 9p.m. till Midnight at the all new Rollerheat Adult Skate.
