The Un-it-ed Scam Art-ists(1)Portland Oregon progressive hip hop group.
(2)A play on words to mock the abbreviation U.S.A. (3)The hand makin you dance like a puppet on his string.
This group is now in the beginning stages, but will be very active in the community working to put an end to all the gaping inequalities we face in this city and society as a whole. Around every corner it seems there's another unnecessary injustice. Whether it be homelessness, lack of access to education for poor people, outrageous inflation, or police brutality our community is swimming with problems and issues that don't just need to be addressed but completely eradicated. Nothing less than that is our mission for this group. However we understand we cannot do it single handedly and that it's likely centuries of oppression may take centuries to undo. We are fixated in playing our role and jumping on every oppurtunity to better our selves and our community. We feel that making dope, rebellious music isn't enough to change society and that we'll have to back our words with legitimate action to necessitate the kind of change we're looking to help create. Anyone looking to contribute to the cause of bettering and gaining total control of our community please leave us a message and tell us how we can support your cause as well. Thank you. -The United Scam Artists
