The Shireys are a full-time, Tennessee based group consisting of family members, Wayne & Darlene Shirey and their daughters, Victoria and Rachael. The Shireys are a Southern Gospel family in the ministry that has been traveling the country for the past twenty-five years, spreading God's love and mercy in song and testimony. They have been traveling, as they are now, for about 3 years. The ministry has expanded, and the family has been going fulltime since the beginning of 2008. God has really blessed their family. He has overwhelmed them with His greatness. They are very excited to see what God has in store for the group and their family. All of the glory and honor is given to God. He is awesome and will never change.
The Shireys are based out of Nashville, TN. Wayne and Darlene have been traveling in the ministry together for the past thirty years. The Shireys have, for many years, been actively involved in Christian television ministry with Dr. Jimmy and Joann Thompson, WGGS TV- Greenville and Dr. Jerry Goff appearing in Atlanta, GA, Greenville, SC, and Augusta, GA.
The Shireys have many recordings to their credits and through the years have performed on stage with such names as The Crabb Family, Brian Free & Assurance, Gold City, The Perrys, The Diplomats, The Reggie Saddler Family, Dixie Melody Boys, Naomi & The Segos, Morris Trio, Dixie Echoes, The Freemans, and many others.
