Owner Vince Barnhill and his interest in music became apparent in 1987 when Universal Rehearsal was born. Hailing from a small farming town in Quincy, Illinois, Vince had no idea his future would land him in Dallas, Texas. Twelve years later his million dollar facility would become the largest rehearsal studio known. Taking the qualities of an ultimate rehearsal facility and making them a reality was his number one priority. Vince, together with his manager Mike Kelly, has made Universal a "pro place" in the
competitive Dallas music scene.
Co-owner John Kirtland teamed in 1999. His credits include extensive touring, and recording with his multi-platinum band. His love for music, along with his experience, has made Universal one of the best rehearsal labs around.
Hourly Studios: Universal Rehearsal's hourly studios are fully equipped with p.a.'s, mics, boom stands, and cables.
Hourly Studio Rates:
3-hr block = $65.00 (Studios # A1,# B,# C and # H)
5-hr block = $85.00 (Studios # A1,# B,# C and # H)
3-hr block = $95.00 (Studio # A, Only)
5-hr block = $125.00 (Studio .. A, Only)
Lockout day rate = $275 per day for Studios .. Studios # A1, # B,# C and # H
Lockout day rate = $475 per day for Studio .. A only
Tax not included in room rates
Monthly Studios: All of our monthly studios are designed with your comfort and convenience in mind. With ensured uniterrupted privacy, all monthly studios have 24-hour access and are air-conditioned and acoustically designed.
Monthly Studio Rates:
Extra Large: $500-$1000
Large: $450-$500
Medium: $350-$400
Small: $250-$300
Drum Room: $150-$200
