Universe was formed in December of 2008 with Mike Lierly (Tem Eyos Ki, Soophie Nun Squad), Mike Harpring (Good Luck), Hannah Jones (Ghost Mice, Beyond Things, The Devil Is Electric), Jarod Isenbarger (Morrow, Dead Letter Auction), and Nate Powell (Soophie Nun Squad, Wait, and comic book artist). .. .. Justin Vollmar recorded our six-song demo at his house in April 2009; this was released on Nate's label Harlan Records. .. .. Hannah played her last show with Universe on November 18th. Our friend Jacqui (Jacqui Mountain, Selfish Whales) stepped up to fill Hannah's role as bassist and violinist shortly thereafter. .. .. We recorded a 12 song album called ..Passenger.. in early February with Mike Bridavsky at ..Russian Recording in Bloomington....... ......
