Nov 10 2009 10:21 AMI did my research b4 I started - I looked into more conventional schools too - this school is formated so diff. to be more doable for working adults and parents - I am in the BSN program, I looked in my state board of nursing results for the % of passing the state boards from which schools and UOP was the highest! That and the ease of the classes, being able to work full time and go to school to get my BSN was really what helped me to decide! I know its not for everyone - but want u and everyone to know - at least for my program and in my state its the best choice for the pass rate for the state boards!:) good luck in everything you do! |

Nov 9 2009 9:12 PMI agree! Phoenix gave me the opportunity to go to school full time AND keep my full time job. If this school doesn't work for you well then it doesn't work but there is a high success rate with those that it does work. I'm going into my second year and so far I couldn't be happier. I admit this school is not for everyone. You have to do a lot of learning and research by yourself. So if you are not self motivated well pick a different school where you can be chased around and do all the college life things. But Phoenix for me was ideal and perfect. |

Looking for the negative in things will alway's bring about NEGATIVE RESULT'S, and in the end a NEGATIVE ATTITUDE!!! University of Phoenix is an ACCREDITED college, they do give you a placement test and this is for convenience for those that cannot attend a traditional college that conflicts with your everday schedule!Again, dropping out of High School, College, or whatever it may be NEVER BROUGHT ANYONE SUCCESS!!! Nov 7 2009 5:41 PMHey yall. I just dropped out of com 105. Everything was great i really loved the whole system and what not. It almost just seems to easy, but what do i know. I suggest everyone that goes to this school google or just search UOP sucks. I want you to just spend a few hours going thru all the sites that show up. I know that i spent about 10 to 15 hours not all at once but just researching all the pros and cons regarding this school. This school is strictly convient and nothing more. Good luck everyone. I just want you all to ask yourselves this( Is UOP really a school that you can be proud of.) Next time you go to school you take a good look around, they literally let anyone one in there with out any placement testing or any academic skills and then guess what that probably your team member. All you hopeful graduates do the research about the school and you decide if you want to continue at this modern day diploma mill. |

UOP is the SCHOOL to attend, it's really convenient & I LOVE how everyone shares their experiences w/ one another! I had an AWESOME team, we were just like FAMiLY!! And the instructors were/ are awesome as well! :] I started out my Masters online, but it didn't quite work for me. I am hoping we get a Master's in Counseling program [on ground] soon! Well I wish you all much success & keep up the hard WORK! ♥ CLASS of 09' ! |
