About U.N.K.L.E.

U.N.K.L.E. is the constantly evolving music project of James Lavelle. Characterized by dark trip-hop rhythms with epic clashes of high and low emotions, their sound is never mistaken.

The first album Psyence Fiction was a major collaboration between Lavelle and DJ Shadow, which became a cult favorite.

Shadow left the project and was replaced with Richard File for the next release Never, Never, Land, which some feel has taken the project in a whole new direction. Even with the obvious controversy coming from DJ Shadow fans, it has received critical acclaim as a masterpiece.

This page is not endorsed by U.N.K.L.E., it was created by a diehard fan to spread their music.
