They put their own blood sweat and tears into these projects. "Song" won me my first award, Rock/Alternative: Male Singer/Songwriter of the year @ the LA Music Awards. I'm very proud of both these videos but "Song" is my most honest piece of work to date, I hope you are as moved as I was when you see it. Well. Not the original. The first Unknown Boy was the inspiration for my alter ego. THE STORY OF THE UNKNOWN BOY is very grim... It happened in February 1957. If you'd like to know more about "The boy in the box". Google UNKNOWN BOY. My music and this child's story will come up on the first page.
I needed a name for my band and this victim needed to be remembered. It feels to me. Very symbiotic.
I'm a singer, of the alternative rock flavor. I enjoy eating healthy, but honestly, not as much as I enjoy pigging out on junk food. I was born in Texas, but grew up mostly in Wisconsin. I've lived in Hollywood for 10 years now, it's bitter sweet... I sleep with the lights ON. I'm scared of the dark. I have a great sense of humor, but it's a little on the morbid side. I LOVE cereal. Lucky Charms, Honeycombs, Cheerios, and pretty much anything with chocolate.
Ok. Um. I think the Pope is creepy. I believe in a higher power... I live my life by the rules of my heart/soul. Oh shit, do I sound like Christian rock? Now THAT is CREEPY! I love rocket pops, you get these from the ice cream man, they're red, white, and blue. I hate lima beans. I can time travel inside my dreams and I have a stuffed animal who I still sleep with, her name is Buffy... She's a pink bunny.
I'm proud once again to be an AMERICAN! Thank you to everyone who voted Obama. To me, like always, this past election is bigger than the people running for office. It's about Americans taking responsibility for keeping this country true to it's promise. We put a man in office who we hope will deliver. There's actually evidence, America is GREAT again. Not pathetic (like the last 8 years). So even if Obama doesn't deliver, and I honestly think he will. I'm proud to be a part of a country where the majority of us still believe in a land that is free and in which we celebrate our differences - and prosper as a whole, not a few hand fullz of wealthy assholes dictating the show while we work our selves to the bone for meager earnings. Um. Isn't that why we created this country? Because that's lame. RIGHT!

Now, I do have a few more cents for my favorite state. California. I am disappointed in the YES on Prop. 8... Itz only a matter of time before we see the tides change drastically. So gloat while you can my dear MORMON church. Oh yeah, when I was mentioning CREEPY shit before, I forgot to include the mormon church.
