The UKs biggest touring snowboard film festival is back for its third year and we are at it again. Bringing you two of 2007s most anticipated snowboard films to a town, dry slope of indoor fridge near you. This year we have hooked up with not one, but two of the finest snowboard film producer, the UKs finest Lockdown Projects and David Benedek’s Blank Paper Studio.
Ladies and gentlemen its time for the double header snowboard film premiere tour of “Terminal Ferocity” & “In Short:”, its time to Unleash The Lens.
This year we bring you even more UK dates, enough pick and mix so we will have peel you of the walls at the end of the night. Plus we are also bringing along the DJs to get your head nodding and feet shuffling. New for this year we have a stunning snowboard photo exhibition by Sam Mellish.
When possible at slope venues we have hooked up a TSA, Salomon Snowboards and Bonfire rider demo, plus a hardware demo to try out The Snowboard Asylum and Salomon Snowboard kit.
And of course all the film events are still FREE !!!!

UNLEASH THE LENS - The UKs only Snowboard film tour!!!
Set up by Switchstyle in 2005 to take a bunch of snowboard films on the road to the masses.
Now in our third year and going on strong. New UK tour starts November 2007.

So last year we brought you a seven date UK tour, three top tipped snowboard films, Switchstyles all star DJ team and 1000+ punters! Unleash The Lens teamed up with the Snowboards Asylum, Salomon Snowboards, Bonfire Snowboard Clothing, Chunkyknit Productions, Whitelines and SCUK to tour "The Gap Session" (Blank Paper Studio), "Last Winter" (Chunkyknit Productions) and "Showoffs" (Lockdown Projects) to the far flung corners of the UK.

So this is where we began. Our aim was to showcase some core UK and European snowboard films from the 05/06 snowboard winter season. The tour visited London, Manchester, Sheffield and the Midlands during December 2005 and showcased the films "Transfer" (Chunkyknit Productions) , "Bad Ass Big Airs" (Lockdown Projects) and "Hungerpain". In good old Switchstyle fashion the DJs were they to play into the early hours. The tour was supported by WE clothing, Blue Skin, Howies, Ecler and The Snowboard Asylum.
TECHNINE & WHITELINES have teamed up to put together a KILLER competition.
This comp is open to everyone of all abilities, and we just want to see you ride, dont worry even if you dont expect to win or you cant hit 7's like the next rider, just use it as your chance to get your style noticed.
The beauty of it is, EVERYONE gets to see what you upload, from brands to mags to public to team managers, so get working on those moves.
