Unlockedoor - a Moscowite duet Grin & Don whose music is based on rough broken beats and atmospheric synths. The electronic elements are livened up by sublime melodic guitars, which float in and out of the mix and often grab your attention. To this rather exquisite melange they sometimes add different vocals.
Unlockedoor experiment combining the live and electronic sounds, meanwhile painting exotic pictures using the ringing of guitars, drum machine rhythm tumult, ambient landscapes and the high pitched female vocals lightly tinged with a taste of ethno.
It's hard to define Unlockedoor's style except maybe with the use of the indietronica label, that is a mix of electronica and indie-rock.
"Low Voltage" - is the band's official debut released on 2-99 records after a number of diy releases.
The founders of Unlockedoor also have other music projects. You can learn more about it here...
