MySpace a place for friends

Paris, first named Parade then Dior, was founded in 1999 by Nicolas Ker and Axel Bonard. Owning at their start only a microphone and a Yamaha RM1X sequencer, the duo developed a live sound close to the one of Suicide while composing songs influenced as much by Phil Spector and Scott Walker as by the Doors, The Velvet Underground or the sicties Rolling Stones.
Playing in small parisian bars and recording demos, the band finally played as the first act of an Alan Vega gig, show for which they hired a bassist, Vincent Duval. This one stayed one year in the band and they began to record an EP for No Future Record: "Un océan d'étoiles". After much changes in the line-up, the band now is a 5-men piece and has developed an apocalyptic disco sound that has been compared to the likes of Primal Scream or to some dark Happy Mondays. They are supported by french fashion designer Agnès b. who hired them for various events

Ne disposant à la base que d'un micro et d'un séquenceur Yamaha RM1X, le binôme développait un son live proche de celui de Suicide tout en composant des chansons autant influencées parPhil Spector, Scott Walker que par les Doors, le Velvet Underground ou
les Rolling Stones sixties. Arpentant les bars parisiens et enregistrant des démos, le groupe finit en première partie de Alan Vega au Triptyque, date pour laquelle il s'adjoignit un bassiste, Vincent Duval. Celui-ci resta un an dans le groupe, amorçant le chantier d'un EP chez No Future Records: "Un océan d'étoiles".
Embarquèrent alors Nicolas Villebrun, Arnaud Roulin et Mike Theis, développant un son disco apocalyptique qui les a vu se faire comparer à Primal Scream ou à des Happy Mondays sombres. En 2007, le EP "Un océan d'étoiles" fut enfin mené à terme, un nouveau changement de personnel voyant Maxime Delpierre devenir guitariste. Ils sont supportés par la couturière et mécène Agnès b. qui les a engagé pour plusieurs évènements.
