Unplugged is... Relaxed!
It's a free event put on by the North Ringwood Uniting Church to showcase local talent, and entertain young people on a Saturday night. It was started to get people involved in something good, and fun, and to broaden awareness of local music.
It's a Saturday night cafe, with free drinks, hot chocolates etc, and chocolate bars, and other goodies for sale. There's plenty of couches to sit on, and lots of people to talk to.
In its time, since June 2005, its progressed from a small number of NRUC youth, to a wider range of people from across the outer eastern suburbs.
The aim of Unplugged is to have an inviting place for young people, where they can relax and enjoy, and meet new people.
