About me:
The Brushfire is the oldest literary arts journal in the state of Nevada. It was founded in 1950 by a group of University students that felt our campus and community needed a creative outlet.
Over the years the Brushfire has varied in size, length, format, and style and today the publication has transformed into an impressive 100 page full-color perfect bound book and supplemental website that is published twice yearly by the Associated Students of the University of Nevada. The Brushfire is entirely student funded and student run and we welcome the participation and input of every student—from creating and submitting content, helping critique and determine what should be published to what topics, genres, or ideas you are looking forward to in the finished product.
This semester our goal is to step up the multi-media and interactive portion of what we publish and our website, but we can't do that without your help. So please submit your work, including interactive work and email us if you would like to be video interviewed talking about whatever aspect of the Brushfire, your work, or the arts in general that captivates you. Remember, we welcome submissions from EVERYONE in EVERY MAJOR and EVERY DISCIPLINE. and from ANY and ALL corners of our Northern Nevada community. We know creativity is not confined to those who solely study it in college, but rather there is at least one drop of creativity in us all and we want you to share that with us!

Thank you for adding The Gentleman Photographer to your friends and contact list!!! Did you know that other photographers have started rumors and lies about The Gentleman Photographer because they're worried about my success??? Seriously! Could a higher compliment be paid aside from having my work blatantly copied???
Check out what all their fuss and frustration is about!!! Commission The Gentleman Photographer for your special get-together, event, or just for giggles!!! Or keep an eye out for my casting calls for original projects that WON'T cost you a dime to participate in!!! You might even get published!!!
