PsychoAcoustic SoundClash Volume Zero
Out on 12th November
An eclectic mix of Dadaist ethics, broken beats, esoteric electronics and mad science. A collection of authentic folk recordings by robots from Sheffield
PsychoAcoustic SoundClash Zero EP
Out on 5th November
Four track EP of radio mixes from Volume Zero and One Of Our Tracks Is Missing. Just for the hell of it we mastered the entire EP by filtering it through a jar of Henderson's Relish

Un! started life nearly fifteen years ago as a fanzine based in both Sheffield & Roma (check out XP8 to see what our Roman friends are up to now). Of course issue one never quite made it to press, and so Un! Recordings emerged from the ashes. Our first release was SLBC's 'The Psi-Fi EP' in 1993 and we followed up this (erm) success with a series of cassettes.
In 1994 the PsychoAcoustic SoundClash (or PaSc to our friends) was born, and we decided to send a copy of the track 'Hello, Greetings & Welcome' to NASA for use on their next deep space probe. To our absolute surprise both NASA and SETI wrote back about a year later to say thanks, but no thanks (maybe the idea of Salvador Dali as ambassador to the planet Earth was a little too much for them).
In 1996 we licensed what became 'PsychoAcoustic SoundClash Volume One' to Staalplaat imprint Korm Plastics, and with the easy availability of CD Recorders Un! released a series of limited CDs by PsychoAcoustic SoundClash.
2003 would see the tenth anniversary of the label, and with this looming on the horizon, in 2002 we doubled our efforts to actually release more material. To celebrate ten years of bothering the world media, we released albums by Dr Universalis, Delay Tactics, and a budget numbered seventeen track label sampler by our friends, family & pets.
In 2004 we made our catalogue available on iTunes and in 2005 decided to make the majority of our new releases download only, including a mini album by dub tricksters Stars On 23 (whose original aborted 1998 album was one of the first Mash-Ups). Our website has links to all the catalogue that is currenty available to buy on iTunes, plus a great selection of t shirts to buy via our Spreadshirt store...
