Brief Bio:

Unregistered is a solo music project created by 16 year old Christian Bourne. I write the lyrics and the music for my songs, I have been doing this over 2 years now and plan on never stopping Unregistered. I have released 3 EPs over the internet and you can download any of my songs from my Purevolume webpage.

History Of Unregistered

It started back in 2005 when I got my first guitar, a fender esquire, I started writing songs and as time went by I've felt I got better and better as a guitarist and songwriter. In the spring of 2007 I bought Cubase and started experimenting with it, I had no idea how to use it but as time went on I gained more and more experience then in Autumn of the same year I recorded 3 songs for an EP called 'Video Game Soundtrack' I would describe the songs as grungy, fast paced, out of time demo's. It took me about a day to record each song. After that I came across a website called Purevolume so I uploaded the EP to there. Time went on and I started picking up fans and plays. Then in December '07 I recorded two new songs for a 2-track EP called '12 Days Straight' After that I made this myspace page.

In February '08 I recorded two more songs for a 4-track EP called 'Cerulean City'. I completed the two other songs the month after, there I completed the EP having 3 under my belt. Later I decided to combine my '12 days straight' EP with 'Cerulean City' as there wasn't much point in a 2-track EP.

Straight after releasing 'Cerulean City' I began writing more songs for another EP I was going to release in May '08, this time in a real studio rather than my home. As typical as life goes there was technical issues with the studio resulting in me having to record the EP at home yet again. I spent the 2 months after May further refining the 3 songs and started recording the EP 'They Taught Me This at Ski School' in Mid-August. The EP took me 2 weeks to complete which is longest I've ever spent recording an EP. This EP is perhaps the one I'm most proud of.
