Unreliable Narrator supports all-ages, inclusive, DIY spaces. We would prefer to play spaces that don't encourage the consumption of alcohol over musical and artistic endeavours. We're not anti-alcohol. Rather, we're simply not interested in venues that take advantage of bands and use them to sell beer. We like spaces that treat musicians fairly. Unreliable Narrator is involved with the the safe amplification site society, a non-profit society devoted to the creation of Vancouver's first completely legal all-ages space.

His voice billowed out of him like smoke, that big old man, big burly gut tied up UP in a tight-fitting t-shirt. What a sight: two big eyes drooped with age that gushed tears when he talked, creased and wrinkled but shiny in the canyons. He always sat in that same old stained faux-leather chair, leaning to the right, up against the part of the wall that connected the countertop of the bar with rest of the restaurant. He held his cigarette in his right hand, in between his index and middle fingers, and waved it to and fro, gesticulating wildly as he extolled the merits of phenomenology or some other system, some process, he’d heard about on the internet, indicating with pauses and gaps in his explanations that he was neither prophet nor PHD, but exuding such an extraordinary amount of enthusiasm for the subject that we’d cease to interject our arguments in favour of accepting his revelations as truths instead of conjecture.
cold. flat. ugly. good bike riding though-what with the lack of hills! I heard Vancouver has basically been pouring since I left... makes it easier to leave. not too easy though.
You know what's really great? Bands like yours who put themselves out there and make this city worth living in. THAT'S what's really great! So good job!
