About me: For those saints and sinners looking for the next great show to attend. The weekly Unrepentant Angels Music blog will alert you to what's happening around town, and any shows of note to watch for on the horizon. There are two editions every week for your review. The first will highlight shows in the Kansas City area, and the second our new hometown, Austin and the surrounding cities. Heading out of town? Ask the Angels and we'll try our best to find you a good show to check out on your travels. There are many fantastic resources out there advising you on what to do, but let the Angels do the work of combining them into one source.
Are you a band that wants your show listed in our calendar? Send a quick email to unrepentant.angels.music@gmail.com or myspace message us and we'll take a listen. But don't be offended if you don't make the cut. A wise friend of the Angels once said, "Just because I don't have morals, doesn't mean I don't have standards."

so, last night i got to have the awesome experience of going with shawna and tony (my sister and brother-in-law) to take my niece and nephew to their first concert - stevie wonder at the hollywood bowl. not too shabby!
in honor of this occasion, i'm asking all of my friends to comment me back with what *their* first concert was...and then you can stop by in a couple of days and read everyone's!
incidentally...shawna's was destiny's child, 'n sync and christina aguilera tickets that she won in an acting contest. mine was steppenwolf and the guess who with my dad when i was 11. tony's was stevie ray vaughan for his 9th birthday...his choice. his taste in music is as kickass as his taste in women! :D
