Unscene is a new company based in Ayrshire aswell as being a promotions
& management company we are planning our first release which is going to be an album with Colin Hunter.
I also manage Colin Hunter who you can read a bit about below.
Colin Hunter is a singer songwriter from Ayrshire he has played for previous bands including Angel Seattle and Spandex Monkeys. Colin Hunter has been playing the local Ayrshire and Glasgow scene for the last 5 years including venues such as the Barfly, The Cathouse,and 13th Note.
He has also supported acts such as Tom Hingley of The Inspiral Carpets, Roddy Woomble of Idlewild, Kris Drever (bbc radio 2 folk musician of the year) John McCusker & Ricky Warwick of The Almighty and completed his first tour of Scotland round the Highlands and Islands with Tragic O Hara. There are also plans for an album for next year which will be released on Unscene Records .

PULSE Recording Studio – Open Mic Event – Malcolm Sargent Fundraiser
PULSE Recording Studio and yipworld.com (Cumnock) are hosting an Acoustic Open Mic Event to help raise funds for West FM sponsored Malcolm Sargent Cash for Kids Appeal. The aim is to raise £25,000 to build a Musical Garden for visually impaired children.
PULSE has hosted a number of Open Mic Events over the last year and always delivers a healthy brand of local artists and music. Previous acts include Tragic O'Hara, Colin Hunter, Jamie Clark, The Streetlight Conspiracy, Uncle Big Bad and The Ghosties along with many others.
The event will be recorded live, with a view to releasing a Live CD to raise more funds in the future.
Their will be a £1 door cover charge and raffles with all cash raised going to charity.
