Circa 99-2001 following a faithful trip to Columbus, OH when I went to Hip hop Sundays at Bernie's distillery and Met DJ Przm(R.i.p.) , I was inspired to set up open mic promotions at the Voodoo Lounge, Sunset hall, and Legends showing that we develop quality artists as well as the art form. In Feb 2001 at the Sunset Hall I established the first official all age hip hop weekly open mic in fort Wayne, IN called "HIP HOP Sundays" with a weekly radio ad campaign on 107.9 a local clear channel station. In April 2006 I help put together and booked regional acts (featuring Illogic and DJ Top Speed) for the Friday performances for the Indiana University Hip Hop Congress 6th annual hip hop awareness festival week. From May 2007- JULY 2007- I help throw two huge DIY 15 act multi genre shows that evolved into the “local scene bash” a Fort Wayne Wood Stock of sorts. In September 2007 I helped Dante Lasalle contact Terrorbird.com to push his “Roaming Empire” LP to 2 on the CMJ.com college hip hop charts in January 2008. November 2007- June 2008 I was event planner for Kaysan’s 5th and Woodland Lounge in Fort Wayne, IN. In June 2008 I booked Doodlebug from Digable Planets 4 shows in Fort Wayne, IN (Brass Rail), Ann Arbor, MI (Blind Pig), Traverse City, MI (Loading Dock), and Pittsburgh, PA(Garfield art gallery). In September 2008 I booked Keith Murray for Matthew “M-Eighty” Markoff in Traverse City, MI (The Loading Dock). In October 2008 I booked Digable Planets for Jason Swartz in Traverse City , MI (The Loading Dock). In February 2009 I booked the 8 city "Creamy Spy Invasion tour" in Bloomington, IN (Uncle Festers), Fort Wayne, IN (Columbia Street West), Indianapolis, IN (Spin Nite Club), Toledo, OH (Frankie’s Inner City), Columbus, OH (CBR’S), Cleveland, OH (Grog Shop), Lafayette, IN (The Muse), and Lexington, KY(The Dame) with Cee Knowledge the Doodlebug (Digable Planets) & the Cosmic Funk Allstars.
