After the untimely demise of a newly reunited Tantrum Of The Muse in 2004, Stephen Mark Sarro(Vox/guitar) and Seth Luzier(Keyboards/piano/samples) started Unteachers and searched for new members to complete a new venture, that would follow closely in TOTM's footsteps, a band that would continue to push musical and lyrical boundries. It took many years to find a drummer and a bassist who was good enough to join the fold, and make thought provoking noise again. After throwing together demos of new songs, Stephen and Seth joined up with Thom Lambert (drums) and Brian Denny (bass) to begin songwriting, etc. The band completed demos, which is what you are hearing now!, Stephen, being completely unhappy with the way the songs were being portrayed on the demos, decided to scrap it and redo it, and during this time, Thom left the band to focus on family/career. Brian and Seth started working on various new music (Most recently the very awesome band LOGOS), and Stephen decided to relocate Unteachers to Lancaster, PA. In 2008, Stephen finished writing the music for a concept album for the band. Rick Wise (former TOTM drummer) agreed to drum after graduating college. This autumn sees Unteachers beginning its journey to become one of rock and roll's most vital new act in modern music.
So yeah, me and a couple of great buddies have this burning in our hearts for some really great and emotional art. So far, two guitars and drums...and maybe some keyboards and samples. But it's all up in the air in terms of what's it's going to sound like. I just want to play everything I possibly can. No set genre...just play from the heart.
Other than that, my life is the fucking same. Everything is good though. Very blessed.
thanks for the praise my man! workin on a new ep as i release this one and putting a band together. very busy but i need help so why dont you just hop on out here and give me a hand. November is good for me. OK!
I know you dont like flattery, but Stephen you and your music encourages and evokes the minds of the listner. And it stirs up creativity in the heart of the musician who just happens to be converted. Thanks.
if u are on good terms with him....Jim Settle is a good bassist...have u ever thought of a Tantrum reunion? just out of mere curiosity. Love the music by the way, hope u guys can find a bassist and drummer and get some live shows. do u sell demos?
We'll have to talk on the phone soon, and I'll tell you about some of these prank calls we made Sat. night. I recorded some of them. And yes, I will be 32 this week, and still find this shit funni!! ;D LOL
That recording I left on your voicemail was from one of the MANY ridiculous #1-800 numbers Derik and I called this past Saturday night, just to see if they even exist. Apparently, there is a demand for #1-800-PEEONME.
