Unusable Signal is a band formed from a love of music and a passion for what they believe in. The band formed in 2004 from Chris Burgess' garage in Seymour. They started as a four piecer and eventually receded to only Chris Burgess and Cory Smith. The two discovered the possibilities of recording music in 2005, They proceeded to track their first demo using a computer microphone and free online recording software. At the time the band could not decide on a name, thus their original title NamelessBand. Soon after, NamelessBand acquired a new member, Nathan Patterson on the bass. They cleared out a small upstairs closet and used it as a "recording studio". Since then, Unusable Signal has obtained much more equipment and members including: pianist Justin Crisp and Marcus Finchum on drums. They plan on hitting the studio and laying down a professional demo soon. In the mean time they intend on continuing writing music, recording their songs, and preforming live shows. All of this they will do with a dream of one day making it big.
